World’s largest floating solar power plant being built in MP

MP Floating Power Plant News: Madhya Pradesh is going to get another achievement in the field of pollution-free power generation. On one hand, where the power crisis will be removed from the state. Madhya Pradesh will be known all over the world for this great achievement.

Floating Solar Power Plant i.e. floating solar power plant is being built in Khandwa region of Madhya Pradesh. Although floating solar power plants have been installed in many countries, but it is not as big as this plant being built in MP. It will generate 600 MW of electricity.

Where is the plant being built

According to the information, a floating solar power plant is being built in Omkareshwar dam built in Narmada river of Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh. Officials say that this solar power plant will be the world’s largest floating solar plant. According to the information, this plant will be ready in the year 2022-23.

600 MW electricity will be generated

600 MW of electricity will be generated in the floating solar power plant being built on the Omkareshwar dam. About Rs 3000 crore may be spent on this project. The works related to the plan say that this solar power plant will be called the world’s largest floating solar plant.

Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh will be known for generating three types of electricity. Here thermal power station, hydro and solar power is prepared.

Solar powered sprayer

For the farmers, engineering students of Indore have designed a sprayer that will run on solar energy. Engineering students say that farmers used to face a lot of trouble while spraying pesticides in the fields. But now such a sprayer has been made which will easily work for the farmers.
