India new train tracking system: Modernization of public transport system in India is being done at a very fast pace and in this, from bullet train to Vande Bharat Express, new examples are being set. Meanwhile, now the tracking system of the train is also being completely changed.
UPDATE will happen every 30 seconds
Although the information about the running status of trains is still available on the IRCTC website. But now an even faster and more accurate information system has been prepared. Its use has also been started successfully. Latest information will be received every 30 seconds.
2700 Train engines fitted with ISRO systems
In collaboration with the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), the Railways has developed a Real Time Train Information System. In the first phase, this system has been installed in 2700 train locos to get accurate information about the running position along with arrival and departure of trains. It will be expanded and installed in 6500 locomotives.
New system has started. Accessing information in CO Application
Under this new system, the information received from the running engines is directly reaching the Control Office Application (COA). With this, the control chart and time table in those trains have started updating directly. Control of trains will now be able to track the location and speed without any human intervention. With this, passengers will get automatic charting of trains and up-to-date information.
