Dr APJ Abdul Kalam passed away
On 27 July 2015 , at the age of 84, Dr Kalam was expressing his thoughts on a habitable planet at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Shillong when he suffered a cardiac attack and fainted there. He was taken to the ICU at Bethany Hospital at around 06:30 in the evening where he died two hours later.
